It’s all gone. I did it. And I had tears in my eyes the whole time.
Remember this picture from last week? Well here’s today’s…
I clipped it off. His beautiful girly curls. There was a pile of blonde hair at my feet. He looks so boy now, so hardcore, as Aria would say. Well I’m not hardcore. I think I might cry. To top it off, after I was done, Mr. Military Daddy told me, “you know I really didn’t care anymore that it was long.”
Excuse me while I lock myself in the bathroom for a few hours.
While I’m doing that, please stop by Jen’s Cheaper Than Therapy for other photos worth a Thousand Words. Hopefully they’re already done crying in the bathroom *wink*.

he looks soooo handsome!!
I like it! Our friends just did the same thing and they were sad, too. I rememeber the first time I cut my oldest's hair...I was excited and sad at the same time. I'm sure I'll be the same way with my youngest!
Oh, he's still a doll!
I am a big fan of the little-man cut. So cute!
Awww, he looks so handsome with his big boy hair cut. I did love those curls, though.
Still adorable!

Awww...I love little J man! He's so adorable either way! ....and it WILL grow back!! Hugs!
Mel, I know how you feel. Jonah kept getting mistaken for a girl, and Ross said it was time, so when he was about 16 months, off went the curls. I cried, and said "you cut off part of his soul......." very mellodramatic, I know. He's still very cute!!
I completely understand the tears. What beautiful curls.
There's a time for everything. (But it usually comes to soon)
He does look pretty handsome! You know, I secretly wish my boys would have longer hair, but I'd probably just cut it off anyway. People already think my youngest is a girl and his hair is short!
I think he looks handsome. Does he miss it? I see how he's reaching up for it. He's cute either way though!
