Thousand Word Thursday - Ignore the kitchen

Cheaper Than Therapy

My sweet baby boy. Please disregard the cupboards hanging open and the breakfast stuff still on the counter. I was enjoying the kids instead. It reminds me of a poem MckMama posted a while back. In light of all the sad circumstances lately in the blogosphere, I hope you, too, are ignoring the dishes once in a while and soaking up the baby goodness!

I'm all about ignoring everything, well, almost everything when it comes to my boys. Drives my hubster bonkers. One point in time he even said... 'The dishes aren't going to get done while you lay on the floor with Logan.' Oh yeah, I don't expect him to 'get it'.

Their only that young once. Soak it up! Fab post!

I too am ignoring my house and giving all my attention to my boys. I don't care if I keep stepping on toys and hurting my feet, or if my sink is so full I can barely wash my hands. I will never regret neglecting my house, but the same could not be said about my kids. Happy ATWT. :)

Give 'em all hugs! Wrestle, dance, get those giggles out as often as you can....you can clean after they leave the nest cause it will just get messy again anyway.

Oh my, what a cutie! I have no problem ignoring the housework to spend time with the kids .. Mine are on vacation this week and we've just been hanging out. Next week should be a blast as I'll be playing catch up with everything!

Your thoughts on the dishes are PERFECT! I've always been a "the dishes can wait" type of Momma. Your sweet little one is just too cute -- SO more important than the dishes!
