This is my 100th post!!! Let's give something away!!

~~~This Giveaway is now CLOSED!~~~
Welcome to my 100th post!! To celebrate I want to give YOU a gift!! My very first giveaway. Help me out by entering so I can get a feel for all this. I plan to have more givevaways during my Blogaversary.
Here's the scoop:
When my oldest was born it was autumn. I purchased a carseat carrier cover to keep her warm outside. I was frustrated when the tiny circular cover would fly up at every mild gust of wind. I ended up throwing a blanket over the top, which totally defeated the purpose of the cover. On top of that, every time I needed to take her out, I had to remove the whole thing. It was a pain. I decided to devise my own cover that is essentially a cover with an attached blanket.
The fleece carseat cover has elastic to fit almost every carrier out there. The top flap is a generous square with large velcro strips at the bottom to keep it on in very windy weather. It is stitched across the top.
This particular one features Tigger and is a greenish-blue with black trim.
When you are ready to remove baby, there is a 9" zipper so you never have to remove the cover entirely from the seat unless you need to wash it.My babies have always stayed warm in them and never needed anything more than the warm winter clothes they would normally wear in the house. If it's below zero, I added a small receiving blanket. This cover is also great in fall weather, baby stays comfortable and doesn't seem to get over heated.
I have made these for 6 years and have really loved giving them as gifts to my friends and family. I have even had friends request that I make them one for their friends' showers!!
I plan on setting up an Etsy shop in late April where they will be available for purchase.
For now, you can win this one!!
Some of you may not need this right now, but they make excellent shower gifts, so feel free to enter!!
Well...this is my comment (and I follow you already). I think you should make them in adult sizes. I would like to cuddle under one where no one could see me or breathe on me. I really like that idea! I think you're going to make a killing on them! These are just great!
Seeing how I hate babies, I got nothin'.
I think if you show fabric swatches then personalize the order instead of having them premade especially if your starting your store in April.
I personally always hated that the blanket area would cover and lay on the baby's face I wanted it to come up and attach near the handle to atleat make it a tent type cover. Fabulous idea and I think if you price them right you'll make great sales. Good luck to you in your business adventure.
ABSOLUTELY!! You let me know when you get your etsy shop up and I will totally pimp it out on my blog! I want one!!
This baby is due in Aug so at about3 months it starts to get cold and YES the wind always catches the blanket that you throw over it!
I am amazed and wish I had the talent to do it!
Being on Etsy already I think you should definitely give it a shot. I love that they have a zipper on them! I would start researching them now to get an idea on styles and pricing :) Visit the forums and chat rooms as well and that will get you some great feedback too!
I have a great giveaway on my blogg too right now!
I think they would be a seller because I bought one for my grandson since they live in the north where it gets bitter cold.
They only came in black. Also it was very thin more for summer. I would like some with prints and the choice of material for winter, fall, spring summer.
Because in the summer the sun shines and could burn baby very quickly being near a car window.
so their covered and not freezing from the air conditioner.
Good luck
